King of the South Showdown

    Tampa, Florida “The Sunshine State”. Tampa is the second largest city in the Tampa Bay area, making it the second largest metropolitan statistical area in the state. It is the Home of the MLB Tampa Bay Rays, NFL Tampa Bay Buccaneers and NHL Tampa Bay Lightning.


    The Florida State Fairground is a 355-acre complex that is conveniently located off interstate highways, close to some of Florida's most popular attractions, beaches, state parks, historic locations, downtown business, shopping malls, and numerous hotels and restaurants. It is time to “Crown a King in the South”!

    Cheer & Dance 3rd Place teams receive: -A Championship Plaque & Bronze Medals
    Cheer & Dance 2nd Place teams receive: -A Championship Plaque & Silver Medals
    Cheer & Dance Champion teams receive: -A Championship Plaque & Banner
      -Gold Medals
      -Championship Hoodies *Cheer only
    WSF Cheer Grand Champions: -WSF will crown a Grand Champion in levels 1 thru 5 
      -Grand Champs will receive a Plaque, Banner & Sling Bags
    WSF Dance Grand Champions: -WSF will crown a Grand Champion (Highest Point Winners) in all Age Divisions
      -Grand Champs will receive a Banner & Dance Champion T-Shirts
    WSF Viewer's Choice: -WSF will crown a "Viewer's Choice" Award for the entire Dance Competition and in Cheer levels 1 thru 5
      -"Viewer's Choice" winners will receive a Banner
    *Small Cheer Program Winner: -1st place $3,000, 2nd place $1,000
      -3-5 teams in attendance
      -Sum of the top 3 cheer scores from your program (over the course of the 2 days)
    *Large Cheer Program Winner: -1st place $4,000, 2nd place $2,000
      -6 or more teams in attendance
      -Sum of the top 3 cheer scores from your program (over the course of the 2 days)
    *Prizes are awarded to the top 2 highest overall scoring programs.


    Hotel Kickback

    - "Hotel Rebate Program" / "Loyalty Program" = $$$$ back per room night
    - For every hotel room night that is blocked within your program, you will receive $$ back!
    - The check is mailed 120-150 days after hotel stay
